Technical Support Advisors

Fasthosts is currently looking for customer focused individuals to join our award winning Support Team. The focus of the role is to solve the problems that customers encounter when using our service, quickly and effectively, maximising the quality of experience for the customer, improving the skills of the customer where appropriate. Fasthosts takes pride in providing industry leading technical support 24 hours a day and, after completion of your initial training, you will be welcomed into our team, working a shift pattern that will involve occasional overnight and holiday work.

We are now seeking talented Web Developers to design and build intuitive online interfaces, as part of our growing User Interface team. Windows Developers

We are now seeking Windows Developers to join the existing research & development team, comprising both Windows and Linux developers. The development team are pivotal to the success of Fasthosts and comprise a very high calibre team of analyst programmers and system architects. The development team are responsible for the software design and system architecture that underpins our entire hosting platform and all business operations. Your role will be to develop and evolve our hosting platform, products, online control panels and supporting tools. You will work on a wide variety of diverse and interesting projects and liaise with people across the entire business.

3rd Line Windows Engineer

Fasthosts' 3rd line engineers are self-motivated, possess superlative troubleshooting and analysis skills and are prepared to do whatever it takes to maintain our hosting platform and to get the job done with minimal customer impact. The 3rd line team are responsible for the day to day operational running of Fasthosts entire hosting platform and provide 24/7 cover to the business. Standard hours are 9-6 Monday to Friday with out of hours cover being provided on a weekly shift system. Each 3rd line engineer must participate in this system as required. Participation in the out of hours cover will be dependant on successful completion of a probationary period. You will posses excellent communication and team working skills and have confidence working on your own initiative.

2nd Line Support Engineer

The main focus of the 2nd Line support team is to monitor and maintain Fasthosts' hosting infrastructure and to resolve technical issues escalated from the front-line support team. The ideal candidate will be someone who already has extensive knowledge of a front-line support role and who is a strong team player with a methodical and practical approach to problem solving. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the IT industry.
