Climate control

Power

Our data centres and offices don't simply rely on local grid power to ensure the uptime of your hosted services. In the rare case of a power outage, the power supply is switched to our own local diesel-powered generators and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).

• Dual independent power feeds, backed up by Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems
• Diesel generators capable of running our data centres indefinitely - protecting services from any single power failure

Connectivity

Part of the United Internet Group, we connect into the United Internet Global Backbone Network to connect you across the world.

• Geographically diverse data centre connections into different Points-of-Presence
• Each connection is managed at or below 50% capacity, so that in the rare event of a failure, connectivity is not adversely affected
• Trans-continental wide-area network (WAN) handling an overall bandwidth of 120Gbps, providing all connectivity for our data centres
• Optimal connectivity with a large number of UK-based ISPs, with redundant connections at two London Internet Exchange (LINX) locations
