Recently upgraded but was not advised that my contact list would be wiped out - lost all contacts!!! Also, can't configure my signature very well. Would like to set font size and colour. Otherwise a good service.

Hi Mike, Sorry to hear that your contact list was wiped out, we do have a notice on the screen during the process that asks if you have backed up your email. If you use Outlook then backing up to a PST file allwos you to save contact details. Outlook 2010 also allows you to fully customise your email signature. I had a problem recently and rang and spoke to one of the Fasthost team who talked me through very patiently and helpfully. As you may have gathered I am not so used to working with the technology so this service was very much appreciated.

Email support can be haphazard at best, we have been a customer of fasthosts for 8 years now, and are happy with the services, just don't expect constructive responses from support. I always get the feeling they are firefighting rather than fixing!
