Oct 2ndFasthosts have made the move to online working simple and quick. I knew very little about computers and even less about servers. Two months later I have a working site that meets my needs. Technically the support has been flawless, I wouldn't say that it has been a seamless process but Fasthosts definitely proved themselves and guided me through the steps I needed to take and answered my questions whatever they were. Would definitely recommend the services to other colleagues and therapists.

JamesSep 28thContacted Fasthosts about a dedicated server and had a sensible conversation with someone who didn't expect me to have long arms and deep pocketrs. Settled for a quad core server with 1TB discs in raid at a price less than half of most of the competitors. Save over £100 per month on my previous server. So did I get worse quality? Well the setup was done in less than two hours and most issues were resolved almost by return and certainly within an hour. Very impressed so far.

We've been with Fasthosts for 1 year and no problems encountered with downtime, etc. Help with set up was very good as CentOs was new to me and a bit confusing to start with but Fasthosts engineers pointed me in the right direction and installed a few important components for me. Our VLE has been running successfully on the dedicated server and access speeds are excellent. Yet to be tested at full capacity but I am confident it will cope admirably.

JamesSep 3rdI recently had much trouble renewing an SSL certificate. In fact if instead of 'time to renew' you said 'time to buy a new certificate' it might have been a lot easier. Your agents were very helpful but the instructions and video they sent me were incomplete and/or inaccurate. So my message is that better documentation would have saved your customer a lot of aggravation and your agents a lot of time. Or better still, simplify and automate the whole process.

Their staff are polite and helpful their service is very professional and very good value for money. I would gladly recommend Fasthosts to any of my friends.
