Can I use a BlackBerry with Fasthosts?
While we are unable to offer direct support for individual BlackBerry devices, BlackBerry functionality on your Fasthosts mailboxes can usually be set up by your mobile service provider.
The process uses BlackBerry's Internet Services and will involve you opening a free BlackBerry Internet Services account.
To create a BlackBerry Internet Account you will need your:
- Device PIN
- Device IMEI
- Mailbox username (The email address of the mailbox you created)
- Mailbox password (The password you chose when you created your mailbox)
BlackBerry Internet Accounts can be created instantly with any of the following UK mobile service providers:
Quick Tip: A list of Mobile network providers outside the UK can be found on the
BlackBerry website.
Where can I find additional help?
Your Mobile Service Provider will be able to guide you through the process of creating an account and setting up BlackBerry functionality on your mailbox.
There are additional user guides and knowledge base articles on the BlackBerry website to help you set up the full range of BlackBerry Internet Services.

- Windows Mobile Smartphone Edition
- Palm Treo.
Email is pushed directly to your smartphone or PDA, with Outlook functionality wherever you go. Good Mobile Messaging can be activated on any Exchange mailbox on your Fasthosts account.
