Domain Registration Services and Blogs

The registry operator for gTLD domains is currently performing maintenance.

As a result, the following functionality may be intermittently unavailable during this period:

- domain transfers
- domain management (for example changing name servers)
- domain registrations
- whois checks
- Blogs sites

This will only affect gTLD domains and Blogs

Exchange Server EXCH-BE33

Some customers with Exchange mailboxes on server EXCH-BE33 may currently be unable to connect using Outlook. Outlook Web Access is unaffected by this issue.

Customer's accessing the Fasthosts Control Panel via the Customer Login option from our www.fasthosts.co.uk site may currently be getting security warnings when doing this.

The warnings are nothing to worry about and work to stop these warning from appearing should be completed later on today.

Dedicated Servers

Thursday night (21/22.01.2010) between 9:30pm and 11:00pm we experienced an issue which resulted in a loss of power to our customers dedicated servers. Whilst this issue has been resolved, some customers may find their dedicated server is still unavailable and may require a reboot.

If you are unable to access your dedicated server today, or are still experiencing any difficulties as a result of this issue, please use the web form in the support website. Our team of engineers are currently working to restore access to any affected servers as a priority.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this disruption.

Update - All systems are back to normal.

E-mail and dedicated servers connectivity problem

Some of our e-mail and dedicated server customers have experienced connectivity issues this evening. All services have now been restored. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
At the moment we are still experiencing problems with our phone system.
So if this outage has caused any further issues or you have any other enquiry please raise a support ticket via our webform.
UPDATE 22.01.2010 00:42 AM - Telephone support is now back online. If you are experiencing any issues please either contact our support teams or raise a ticket via webform on our support site.

Update 08:10 - The issues from last night have been resolved. However, as a result of these issues there is a prolonged queue to reach an agent on our support telephone line. In the meantime customers can email their support enquiry.
