  • Malware Scan – detects malware, such as external redirects, hidden links or links known to malware websites
  • Reputation Monitoring – tracks your online reputation and makes sure you’re not added to a Blocked List or penalised by search engines
  • Spam and Blocked List (Blacklist) Monitoring – compares search engine Blocked Lists with your website or assigned domain name
  • Platform Scan (WordPress only) – checks plugins, themes and core files of WordPress installations for known vulnerabilities

What is Site Scan + Repair?

For £5/month/domain (£6/month for Resellers), you can purchase Site Scan + Repair for your hosting or WordPress. With this add-on, you’ll get even more great features to help keep your site safe. These include the following.

Vulnerability Scan

As part of Site Scan + Repair, you’ll receive Vulnerability Scan. This scans your website daily and covers 3 key areas to help you brush up in the areas where your security is weaker. These are as follows:

  • SQL Injection Scan – identifies risks through scripting applications and identifies infiltration of foreign database commands, data spying and other foreign database accesses
  • Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Scan – in XXS, attackers will exploit the lack of input and output checks in the scripts. So visitors can be redirected to external websites, as well as having keyloggers, trojans or other malicious software reloaded in the background. This scan will detect the potential vulnerabilities and notify you of any it finds.
  • Application Scan – this does what it says on the tin. It scans and informs you of any security gaps in web applications, such as Drupal, Joomla, or WordPress. It also checks whether any new updates or security patches are available. 

Automatic Malware Removal

Another feature of Site Scan + Repair is Malware Removal (SMART). This will automatically remove malware from your site and make sure that search engines don’t block your site, so it always stays online.

Sitelock Seal of Approval
