The service helps to protect your domain from security threats. It also prevents third-parties from viewing the personal details that you registered your domain with. 

With Domain Guard you get the following benefits:

  • Protection from DNS hijacking – stopping hackers from redirecting your domain to malicious or fraudulent websites. This also protects your visitors, as these third-parties could collect their information, like credit card details, or claim to own your domain. This feature secures your name server settings so no changes can be made to your DNS records without your permission.
  • Two-factor authentication – Access to your domain settings is protected by 2FA, so  changes can only be made by authorised persons with access to whichever email address you specify.
  • Domain registration document – You can download a domain registration document showing you are the current registrant of the domain. This could be provided to third parties where necessary.
