As a Fasthosts customer, you’ve got so many benefits and features sitting in your Control Panel waiting to be used. And they’re all completely free! But, do you know what all of them are? We’ve compiled a list of all the features you have access to, right at your fingertips, as well as what you can get, and why they’re useful to you.

Additional user
Looking to add additional users to your account? Set permissions based on what you’d like each user to have access to, amend and delete.
To add a new user, head to your control panel and click ‘Manage my user’. Then select ‘Users’, and ‘Create User’, then choose a ‘User Permission’ type and you’ll then be able to add their name, email address and a password.
Billing email
As a business owner, you may have multiple email addresses or teams to cater to different areas of your company. Choose which of those emails you’d like your invoice to go to, or set it all to go to your main address.
To set an alternative invoice email, go to ‘Manage my user’, then ‘Account Details’ in the ‘My Account’ section of your control panel. There you’ll see a link to ‘Set alternative invoice email’. It couldn’t be simpler!
PDF invoices and invoice preferences
Now that you’ve chosen where you’d like your invoices to go, you can also choose if you’d like to receive them as a PDF attachment. Again, head to ‘Account details’, then ‘Marketing and contact preferences’. Once you land on that page, you’ll see the option to receive your invoices as a PDF, and to receive recurring invoices. Make your selection and this will become effective from your next bill.
Referral scheme (for direct customers)
If you know someone or another business who you think could benefit from our WordPress Hosting, Web Hosting, Website Builder or Email Hosting you can refer them to us and get rewarded when they sign up! Log into your Control Panel and find ‘referrals’ under the dropdown menu on the right. Then type in your friend’s email address and they’ll get sent a unique referral link. You can add up to 10 email addresses at a time, or generate a manual link and send it over yourself.
Once they’ve signed up, you’ll receive £20 credit after 60 days with every referral you make. And the best bit? You can refer as many people as you like!
Not only that, they’ll also get a 1 month free trial on a selection of our products. It’s a win-win!
Package search
Struggling to find a package or domain on your account? Easily search for it right on your Control Panel dashboard using the search bar. Simply type in whichever domain or package you’re looking for and get the results in seconds.
Website stats
It can be difficult to keep track of how your website is doing, especially when you have a few of them! Luckily, we’ve got the perfect solution. We’ll send you weekly updates on how your site is doing, including detailed statistics so you know exactly what needs improving, or what’s doing well.
You can also view these any time you like in your Control Panel. Select the package you’d like to view, whether that’s WordPress or Web Hosting, go to ‘View Website Statistics’ in the ‘Visitor Statistics’ tile, and you’ll be able to see an overview of the following:
- Page views – Shows the amount of page views the selected website gets per day over the selected time frame
- Top pages – Displays your selected website's most viewed pages over the selected time frame
- Bounce rate – Shows the amount of visitors who only view the initial page they land on before exiting the website
- Average pages per session – Shows the average amount of pages visitors view during a session
- Highest bounce rates – Displays the selected website's pages ordered by the highest bounce rate over the selected time frame
- Exit pages – Shows which pages users view the most before exiting your website
- Session duration – Displays the average session duration per day for the selected website and time frame
Web and email forwarding
While many providers charge a fee for this, we offer web and email forwarding free with any domain registration or hosting package. Forward all emails sent to an @domain email address to a separate address which you can specify.
You can also redirect hits to domain.co.uk to whatever other domain you like. It’s all under your control.
Site Scan
Want to boost your website security? Introducing Site Scan to your WordPress or Web Hosting packages! Site Scan is a professional protection tool that scans your websites for threats and keeps both you and your visitors safe from attacks. This feature will be automatically enabled on your existing packages, completely free!
Here’s what it includes:
- Malware Scan – detects malware, such as external redirects, hidden links or links known to malware websites
- Reputation Monitoring – tracks your online reputation and makes sure you’re not added to a Blocked List or penalised by search engines
- Spam and Blocked List (Blacklist) Monitoring – compares search engine Blocked Lists with your website or assigned domain name
- Platform Scan (WordPress only) – checks plugins, themes and core files of WordPress installations for known vulnerabilities

Domain renewal notification
If you’ve got multiple domains and you’re struggling to keep track, don’t panic! We’ll send you an automatic domain renewal notification 30 days before the payment is taken. So you can plan for the months ahead without having any surprise charges.
Referral scheme (Partner)
If you’re one of our Partners, you can get rewarded when you refer your friends and customers to us! When you refer, both you and the person you’ve referred will receive a £30 credit to your accounts. This will be applied after 60 days of them opening their account and purchasing a qualifying product (excluding domains and M365).
If you’re looking to refer, you can generate a unique referral code to share with your customers. Head over to your dashboard, and click ‘Referrals’ in the top navigation. From here you can either add in the email addresses of the people you want to refer, or create a link which you can share yourself.
Anniversary credit
As a Partner, if you choose to link your account to your clients using the Customer Management Tool, you’ll receive credit on the anniversary date of the account link. Just a little thank you and a reminder that your hard work pays off!
Auto discount
As a Reseller, you can get discounts on tons of our products, specifically the products and services you resell the most, like Website Hosting, Hosted Exchange and Acronis Cyber Protect.
Customer Management Tool
As a Partner, we know it can be annoying having to have multiple logins for different clients. That’s why we’ve made it as easy as possible. Manage all of your clients under one roof with the Customer Management Tool. It’s single sign-on, so you don’t need to remember loads of passwords, and makes everything simple to save you time and effort.
Bulk Domains
Most businesses now register more than one domain, whether that’s for brand reputation protection, to cover for typos or spelling mistakes, or to redirect customers to your site from an old page. So, if you’re a Reseller, or you have 50 or more domains registered with us, you’ll get a discount on registration and renewal prices! It pays to keep all your domains in one place.
Domain credits
Before you buy your next domain, why not purchase credits which you can use towards them? You can buy 40 or 100 credits at a discounted rate, which can then be used for new registrations, transfers and renewals – guaranteeing you cheaper prices for your domains.
Product datasheets
Partners can give your clients all the information they need on the products you’re recommending with our handy product datasheets. These PDFs are available in the Resource Centre and are your one-stop shop to every spec and feature of our products and services.
Partner Badges
As a Partner, you can show your customers your Partner status on your website or elsewhere. This is available as a HTML or to download as an image in the Resource Centre of your Partner account.
Reseller Product Pricelist
All of our products and services available to purchase can be found in your Reseller account, along with a full price list. So you can plan and budget depending on your specific business needs.
Maintenance and incident alerts
The last thing you want is to log on to the Control Panel, only to find there’s maintenance due right when you need to use it. On the odd occasion that we do have an incident or some maintenance going on, you’ll receive a notification right in your inbox, keeping you in the loop on everything that’s going on. To subscribe, go to the ‘Get Support’ area from your control panel and select ‘Subscribe to updates’.
Firewall policies (DS/VPS/CloudNX)

Load Balancers (CloudNX)
Network level load balancing distributes network traffic across multiple servers to make sure no single server becomes overwhelmed. This means you’ll always stay online and available, no matter the traffic levels.
VPN
VPN usage has increased dramatically in the past year, and there’s a reason for that. In 2025, data security is more important now than ever before. API (CloudNX)
API is a programming interface that allows automated access to all functions and resources of CloudNX. Using this means all IT resources will be automatically adjusted to fit the needs of your projects. This is available in the CloudNX panel.
LAN
LAN is a network of interconnected services and devices making it easy to keep everything connected and flowing smoothly. LANs are commonly used in enterprise environments to provide secure and controlled access to internal resources. Options to create public and private networks can be found in the CloudNX Panel.
Monitoring
Monitor server hardware and process monitoring to analyse the health of your server, process capacity and get alerts. This is available for Bare Metal in the CloudNX panel and Dedicated Servers in the package overview.
2FA
Using two-factor authentication (or 2FA) is the most secure way to protect your control panel and services. You can activate or deactivate 2FA in the Account Details area of your control panel.
OTP
Another option for logging into your control panel is a one time pin. This can be sent straight to your inbox, is unique to you and keeps control panel access secure and easy. You can activate or deactivate one time pin in the Account Details area of your control panel.
